Why Recycling - What Is A Waste Oil Recycling Machine

What Is A Waste Oil Recycling Machine

While many people have probably heard about recycling used oil, most may not be sure how this process takes place or what is involved in re-refining used motor oil. In many cases, once you dispose of your used oil at the local disposal facility, it is transferred to a recycling facility that uses different implements to process and filter the oil. The backbone of this system is the waste oil recycling machine.

What exactly is a waste oil recycling machine? Now this question can be difficult to answer at first because there are different types of machinery using different techniques to cleanse, purify, and filter waste oil of all types to produce different results. Waste oil recycling machines can also vary depending on the quantity of oil they can process. There are industrial sized oil recycling machines and that that deals with the modest amounts received from quick lubes and individual car owners who change their own oil.

What kind of features might you expect to find in a waste oil recycling machine? Most of the time, an individual unit is used to process and recycle used oil. (Again, the type of oil will depend upon if it is for large-scale manufacturing of it is motor oil from your car.) A total oil purification program may be included to provide the largest percentage recovery of oil possible. With waste oil recycling, a machine that offers some of the following features may be worth careful consideration:

• free water and sludge separating
• pre-treatment filtration
• vacuum jet dehydrator
• chemical treatment

Besides technical specifications, the single most important aspect of a waste oil recycling machine is it economic viability. In other words, is the machine being made available at a reasonable market price and will it pay for itself in money saved by processing used oil rather than purchasing new oil. For the car owner, this will not be a consideration. This person will be happy just to have a responsible way to dispose of used oil that protects the environment—unless, of course, they are also trying to find a way to conserve oil and make use of re-refined motor oil.

With more businesses and government agencies participating in oil recycling measures around the country, the more likely it will be for increases in demand for new waste oil recycling machines. The environmental and economic incentives to provide low cost ways to conserve natural resources like oil will prompt these parties to invest more money in the development of such technologies. Better waste oil recycling machines are being conceived everyday. It an emerging market that may be a crucial part of the total energy revolution.
